We are a technology start-up company jointly launched with professors from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a senior executive from a former listed company. MMSTAR Technology Ltd. was established in Hong Kong and received innovation and technology funding from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and innovation and technology incubation funding from the Hong Kong Science Park when it was established.

The aquaculture industry relies heavily on experience, with deteriorating water quality leading to sharp declines and erratic yields. We see a huge market space of the seafood aquaculture industry and in recent years faced with the challenge of declining production and few scientific and technological applications.

Our Goal

Use technology to empower the global aquaculture industry. Through IOT and AI data models generated by plankton water quality monitoring, we can improve the quality and output of aquaculture.

Our Mission

Use gene expression-based approach to monitor the status and roles of planktons in aquaculture ecosystems. Protect human food safety, and achieve harmonious symbiosis between humans and the ocean.
